How to Connect to Alexa

Specifications

APP control (No remote)	1. Download the “Lepro” APP (not compatible with the "Smart Life" or "Tuya" apps). 2. Register a user account (email address is required; no phone number needed).
Connect lights to Wi-Fi	2.4 GHz only: This allows access to all app features. You need to connect to Wi-Fi before connecting to Alexa. To ensure a successful Wi-Fi connection, please place the controller in an area with a strong Wi-Fi signal. If the controller is in a location where your phone has no Wi-Fi signal, the lights won't be able to connect to Wi-Fi.
Connect to Bluetooth	You will have access to most app features (except Alexa connectivity), such as DIY, On/Off, AI Voice Prompt, and Add to Favorites. Bluetooth control distance: approximately 5m / 16.5ft.
Smart home integration	Works with Alexa and Google Assistant. (Does not support IFTTT, HomeKit, or Matter.) Please note that the phrases Alexa can recognize are limited. For example, there is no utterance for adjusting brightness and color simultaneously as per the official Alexa guide
DIY features	Reset: go back to the default rainbow pattern. Draw: Assign any color to a single bulb. Fill: Choose all the lights on the string. Erase: Turn off a single bulb.
In-line controller	Turn on/off, and resetting to internet pairing status (flashing blue light). It will remember the pattern you set on the app
Brightness	50 lm for Warm White Light; 15 lm for RGB Light.
Dimmable	Dimmable with APP control, not compatible with separate dimmers. Dimmable features are available on the app screens for Save, Music Sync, and AI Prompt Results. In the current version of the DIY interface, overall brightness adjustment is not available. However, since this is an RGB+IC product, you can adjust the color, brightness, and saturation for individual segments. The ability to adjust the overall brightness in the DIY interface is expected in the November update.

Before Setup:

1. Download the Lepro APP and register a user account (no remote, not compatible with Smart Life/Tuya APP)

2. Replug the lights or redetect the length in the app when adding the second string (up to a maximum of 30 bulbs)

3. Connect to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (does not work with 5 GHz)

I don’t love that they look like plastic when they’re turned off but they ended up being a good quality light with a sturdy cord so for the price point they fit the bill.When they’re turned on the soft white is very pretty and provides a good amount of light, the colorful lights are fun for events and when you turn on music they create a vibe.The app is easy to use and super helpful to turn them on and off or change the style of the lights.

As many others have mentioned they are great..until they aren’t.

Had the lights for 2 months and they suddenly stopped working. I’ve reached out to the manufacturer to see if there are any solutions to this issue. The lights are great & the customization features are awesome..when they work correctly.EDIT: After reaching out to the manufacturer, they sent me a replacement set. Hopefully this one will last longer than the first.
